This in fact involved creating a whole new website, and transfering all the information over. Everything went fine, including ordering the URL, making the web space, installing MediaWiki, exporting pages from vwiki.ouvaton.org using an XML dump, importing the dump into the new site, and separately uploading all of the images. The only problem came at the end: the Category links in the new site do not register until the page containing the Category links is edited. This means I have to open and edit all the imported pages, one by one... ==06 February 2009== I've been too busy working on this website to write about it. I'm in the steep part of the learning curve, and of the site-building curve, which in this case comes to about the same thing. Lots of changes in concept, approach and content lately. One enormous change made today: I changed the site name from "Danton's Second Life Tools-House" to "Danton's Second Life User Guide." ==Older Posts== [[Danton's Weblog 2009-01]] [[Category:Danton's Weblog]]
