Second Life Time (SLT) is the same everywhere in the world. This allows [[Resident]]s living all around the real world to set unambiguous times for [[Inworld]] events.

SLT is set to the time in the Pacific Time Zone, because the main offices of Linden Lab are located in San Francisco. SLT varies between Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) or Pacific Standard Time (PST), depending on daylight savings in the Pacific Time Zone.

Second Life Time is shown in the right-hand part of the [[Menu Bar]] that runs across the top of the [[User Interface]].
