I just reworked the [[Main Page]] to present the site as a public resource base rather than as Danton's personal how-to repository. This is the first step towards announcing the site at the storefront in Colonia and on Danton's main blog.

I also made the radical decision to present links to the Convivial Tools Encyclopedia and the Convivial Tools Database. To go forward with Danton's project I think this connection now has to be made.

==9 January 2009==
This has been a busy internet day for me.

I spent much of the morning testing out Raph Koster's Metaplace, for which I received a beta tester invite. I took it very seriously, and diligently filled out the questionnaire they sent me by email.

I "refactored" the present website, to reduce its scope down to Second Life only (with possibly some OpenSim or Metaverse stuff). All the other categories dealing with Internet tools, in particular Open Source tools, have been moved to the dustbin. I will have to make a separate site for all of that someday.

The present site is now properly configured to store information about using Second Life, so that I can make more rapid progress there....

I also extensively reworked the [[User:Danton]] page, in order to gather together a complete set of links to ALL of Danton's Internet stuff.
